Western Togolanders Are Seeking For Independence.... Is This Gonna Be Possible?

The Chairman of the PLC has thrown more light on the state of affair in Western Togoland and the stand of the Peoples' Liberation Council of Western Togoland. In a one on one interview hosted by Rev. Hellen Ruth Dorkenoo at the Majesty T.V. program on Sunday, 13th September, 2020, Mr. Ben Kossi Adeli, the Chairman of the Peoples' Liberation Council (PLC) of Western Togoland made the points clear that his organization is not concerned with the Ghana politics. He said his organization is all about *human dignity*. He says the Peoples of Western Togoland and Ghana are so intertwined that there is no reason to break down or discard the building blocks carefully layed by the U.N. and the people over the years. He emphasized the restoration of human dignity in Western Togoland and Ghana as of paramount importance to the Peoples' Liberation Council of Western Togoland.

Independence means *SELF-RELIANCE*. So PLC is guiding the people to be self reliant.  All the preparations made by the U.N. and our fore-fathers towards the Union of Western Togoland and Ghana are building blocks which we must not disregard and make Western Togoland an outlaw among all nations.

Please take note and see the wisdom behind our argument. If we agree to complete the establishment of the Union as resolved by the U.N. the necessary condition is that we must form a constitutionally elected government of Western Togoland. Is this not independence.  Those who say they don't want union but they want independence are just telling the whole world that they want to promote permanent enmity between Western Togoland and Ghana. A formalization of enmity is an attempt to violate the Natural Law. It is forbidden by the international community. It is sacrilegious in all cultures. We must be wise to keep our senses open to the Power of Truth.
