The Reopening date for SHS 3 has been rescheduled by the Management of the Ghana Education Service.
We can confirm to the change in the reopening date for all Form 3 according to a close source. This comes as a result of proposal made by the Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary School (CHASS), Ashanti Region to the GES to revise the academic calendar for all SHS 3.
Management of Ghana Education Service has finally revised the academic calendar of the SHS per the suggestions made by CHASS Ashanti Region.
However, GES states the new date will not affect proposed instructional hours of 1,080 prior to the WASSCE. The SHS 3 students per the old academic calendar were to be in school today, April 6, 2021.
Below is the message GES sent to CHASS President
Dear CHASS President, Management of GES has considered the proposal of CHASS Ashanti Region and has revised the academic calendar as per the suggestions made.
The reopening for All Form 3 has been rescheduled to 5th May 2021.
The new date applies to all schools (single and double track)
